I do not know who has the most clothing! |
Justin and I packed his stuff up and officially moved him out of Savannah to Hilton Head. Where with his Acadia full of stuff we drove the normal 45 minutes to 'Our Paradise.' When we came to unpacking we changed rooms, so the guest bedroom is now our master bedroom and reorganized the entire closest, where as you can see we are sharing. Our first officially move of making the Hilton Head Condo more like our home. I mean the summer is going to start as soon as I am back from Hilton Head so I really need to get used to living here, as I will be here for a couple of weeks before I fly home for a couple of months.
I cannot wait to start the summer with him, but then I cannot wait to get to Nationals next week in Louisville, Kentucky where yes he will be coming with his mom to watch. The love and support I recieve from him and his family is amazing.
Anyway back to this week, I was taking part in the Regional finals, where I was playing as an individual as my team did not manage to make it. I played good for the 3 rounds, not making many stupid decisions and shooting 75, 72, 76 to finish T7th. But here is the Cinderella story, I had to play in a play off in order to go to Nationals as the last individual qualifier. We both teed off I was playing against a girl from Rollins. My ball landed on the edge of the bunker with an ok stance but a stance that could have been much better. Her ball landed in the bunker. So after the tee shots it was fair to say we were kind of equal. I measured the yardage at 153. I talked to Sarah, and told her that I wanted to hit 5 iron straight for the pin, which might I add was hid behind another bunker just in front of the green. I hit the shot and it flew over the bunker and landed on the green but just rolled off the back by 18 feet. The other girl, hit her shot out of the bunker pushing it right, and then chipped on leaving her a 45ft putt for par. It was my turn to go, and I hit my 58 degree wedge, and chipped it in for birdie. As soon as I hit it I knew it was good. It landed softly and just rolled in the hole.
My celebration: totally fist pumped it (Tiger Style)
So that was this week, and totally looking forward to next week in Kentucky with the Tennis teams, Coach and Members of the Athletic Department. Should be a lot of fun.
