Hey everybody,
I know long time no speak, I'm sorry for the lack of blogging but I really did not have the motivation to sit down and write, and now I really do not have anything else to do so here I am.
So what is new with me, pretty much nothing.
I am still in England with my family, and haven't really done that much. I went to watch the Olympic Torch pass through my town which was awesome as it was a once in a lifetime event, as I do not think I nor the Olympic Torch will ever be in the same place again. And then me and my mum took a trip to the sea life center.
One thing that really touched me this summer, was that I took part in the Walk for Life race in Blackpool, a race in which you raise money in order to beat cancer. The walk this year was dedicated to a young girl who played netball and found a lump on her leg. She reported it to the doctors who left it as they thought it was some sort of sport injury, later to be found that it was indeed cancer. And now it was too late therefore she only has a couple of week to live. This story really touched me as it shows that you never know what is going to happen in life or the deck of cards your going to be dealt. I am just grateful that none of this has ever happened to anyone close to me. My plan is to live every moment and make it count, as you never know when you might get some bad news.
Onto other matters, I am going back to America in 30 days. Not that I am counting down or anything but I am really getting back to seeing a special someone, my friends, my pets. And to get the new academic and athletic year started.
That's about it for now...
Future Events: The Open at Lytham, a night out with some friends, a girly night with old friends, and hopefully plenty of other time.
xoxoxo
P.s. Did you ever realize how much you could miss a person? As over the summer I have definitely learnt this, it is a constant thought process of what there doing, checking my phone and facebook for messages or notices...I have never nor ever will miss a person this much again...
